ทำไม The Beatles แยกวง?
ตอบ: เพราะช่วงท้าย Yoko Ono เข้ามามีบทบาทกับทางวงมากเกินไปครับ บวกกับการที่แต่ละคนอยากมีผลงานของตัวเองบ้างก็เลยทำให้แยกกันไปครับ หรือกล่าวโดยละเอียดคือ การที่คนที่มีความสามารถหลาย ๆ คนมาอยู่รวมกันปัญหาความขัดแย้งย่อมมีแน่นอน ดังนั้นต้องมีคนใดคนหนึ่งที่มีบารมีที่ทำให้ทุกๆคนในวงเคารพและอยู่กันได้อย่างสงบ
สาเหตุเริ่มต้นจริงน่าจะเริ่มตอนที่ผู้จัดการวง Brian Epstein เสียชีวิต The Beatles ตอนนั้นคิดว่าพวกน่าจะบริหารกันเองได้จึงไม่คิดที่จะจ้างผู้จัดการคนใหม่ ผลคือเจ๊ง ต่อมา John, George, Ringo อดรนทนไม่ได้จึงจ้างผู้จัดการคนใหม่เข้ามา แต่ Paul ไม่พอใจเพราะจริง ๆ แล้วเขาอยากให้พ่อของลินดา (พ่อภรรยาในขณะนั้น) มาเป็นมากกว่า จึงเกิดการขัดแย้งกันขึ้นอย่างรุนแรง โดย Pau lเรียกร้องว่าถ้าเพื่อน ๆ ไม่ยอมรับเงื่อนไขของเขา เขาก็จะถอนตัวจากวง
ส่วนสาเหตุรอง ๆ ก็ น่าจะมาจากที่ว่าพอทุกๆ คนโตขึ้นต่างก็มีครอบครัวเข้ามาวุ่นวาย อย่างเช่นโยโกะภรรยาของจอห์น หรือลินดาภรรยาของพอล อีกอย่างพอลก็พยายามทำตัวเป็นขาใหญ่หัวหน้าวงขณะที่เพื่อน ๆ ไม่ยอมรับ + George เริ่มแต่งเพลงมากขึ้น เพราะไม่อยากจะอยู่ใต้ร่มเงา John และPaul จึงทำให้เกิดบรรยากาศแย่ ๆ ในการถ่ายทำสารคดี ‘Let it be’ (1970) ซึ่งชนะเลิศรางวัล Oscars ปี 1971 สาขาBest Music/Original Song Score
‘Let it be’ (1970)
